High Prey Drive Dog Training Virginia
Lure coursing involves your dog chasing a mechanically operated lure that is designed to simulate prey’s movement and speed. For dogs under 1 years old, we make an easier course. Off Leash K9 recommends that dogs under one year of age should not participate in our high prey drive training with hard fast turns because they are tough on a dog’s developing joints and until the growth plates are closed, the movements required in sports can cause joint problems later in life. If you are unsure about your dog’s health or growth, as your vet if this training would be suitable for your dog.
Our Diabetic Alert Dog program in Northern Virginia is run by Nick White, owner of Off Leash K9 Training. Nick is a former US Marine and former US Secret Service, he currently has over 70+ locations throughout the United States; however, his HQ is right here in Northern Virginia.
